Um Amandla Stenberg is perfect and exactly the way I pictured Rue. I hate people who bitch about her race.this pissed me off beyond belief.
1. Racism
why does it matter if rue is black, white, brown or fucking purple. it doesn’t! she did GREAT as rue and i cried when she died just as i did in the book.
2. the book
it says in the damn book she’s dark skinned but it never said she had damn blonde hair. if she was tan katniss would’ve described her as tan not dark skinned.
3. i can’t even
bitch really you have the nerve to insult a 13 year old girl and critique her for something that isn’t her control. it’s not like it said in the book “rue, this bitch is white with blonde hair like prim.” no it said she was like prim but only is size and demeanor.

This fucking disgusting. Disgusting. Who the hell are these people to critisize because Rue is black? Let me point out some things here:
- If you read the friggen book you would know that she was described as having dark brown skin and eyes. SO IT’S YOUR FUCKING FAULT IF YOU DIDN’T REALIZE THAT.
- Amandla Stenberg is the best Gosh dang 13 year old actress I know. All of these haters, yeah, I would like to see YOU try and be a better actress than her. Because you can’t. Were you in a major motion picture? NO. She was. She’s made it big time. And what are you doing? Sitting on your computer complaining because of her skin tone when she’s out there making thousands? Same with Dayo? JUST NO .
The character Rue, is an inisent, 12 year old girl reaped, out of luck&force, to be in the games. She didn’t kill anyone. Didn’t try to intimidate the others. She was just a character thrown into the games. Trying to win, to get back to family. Like Thresh. Like all of the characters. So all this ‘Thresh and Rue hate’ and ‘Eww Rue and Thresh deserve to die in the games because they are black’ hate is shit. Pure shit. So just shut your fucking mouths, there is so much more behind these characters, like their personalities and home life. You don’t even know.- Racism? What is this, the fucking 19th century? Not being steryotipical, but racism should be OVER. DONE WITH. All these people who are sending Amandla and Dayo racist hate is absolute nonsense! They are both amazing actors, as well as people, and it’s just a skin tone! If people could see what these two people are really worth, how amazing they are, and stop being so shallow maybe they could boost their own self esteem. I really don’t know what else to say. This post disgusts me. Shut the Fuck up with the Amandla and Dayo hate. They are absolute flawless people, and deserve to be treated JUST the same!
